Coaching opportunities at Wests

Following the recent announcement of Rob Murdoch and Tim Grady as Premier coaches for 2011, West Brisbane Bulldogs have announced that Dominic Rasini has been appointed Premier Colts Head Coach for 2011.

Wests now invite applications for coaches and managers of 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, Wyatt Cup and Women’s teams for the 2011 season.

Applications can be provided to, or further information obtained from, the club’s Chief Operating Officer Gary Davis by email on garydavis@businessguardian.com.au or mobile 0403 466 345.

Applications will close at 5.00pm on Thursday 2 September 2010 and it is the club’s intention to have all positions resolved by the end of September.


Marist St Joseph's Sevens at Sunnybank

The Rugby Sevens season will kick off in early October with the Marist St Joseph's Sevens day at the Sunnybank club in Brisbane.
  
The tournament on October 9 will provide a warmup oportunity for teams taking part in the popular Byron Bay Sevens on the following weekend and the prestigious Gold Coast International Sevens in mid-November.

Meet the Press Luncheon presented by West's Old Dogs, Friday, September 3 at 12.30pm at West Brisbane Rugby Club, panel discussion on all matters rugby,  featuring former Wallaby Dan Crowley (Channel 7 commentator), Grand Slam winning captain Andrew Slack (Sunday Mail and Channel 9), Wayne Smith (The Australian) and Mark Oberhardt (The Courier-Mail).    

$125.00 per head all inclusive or $1200.00 per table of 10.
