The QR Reds work hard in the Community to provide support and fundraising wherever possible.

We are pleased to announce that the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital Foundation and the Zig Zag Foundation are the chosen charities for the team in 2010 and 2011.

RBWH Foundation

The Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital Foundation raises money to fund clinical research and purchase vital pieces of life-saving equipment at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital, Queensland's largest and busiest hospital.

Zig Zag Foundation

The Zig Zag Foundation is a charity which raises fund for sick underprivileged and at risk children between the age of 0-18 years. The difference with Zig Zag is they run and operate purely on a voluntary basis and have minimal operational costs. The money they raise is granted to Queensland and National registered children's charities and organizations who apply for special project funding. Such charities have been the Royal Children's Hospital, The Smith Family, Vision Australia, Guide Dogs, Bravehearts, Montrose Access, Xavier Children’s Support Network and the list goes on…

The mission is clear - to put every cent back to the children that need it.

The Foundation also provides the opportunity for Corporates to partner with the foundation in the form of sponsorships. There are various package available to suit all needs and each can be tailored to the individual needs of the company. Today Zig Zag is supported by some of Australia's largest companies as well as having the support of the Reds and in particular the Foundation Ambassadors; Peter Hynes, Van Humphries and Quade Cooper.
