Developing the Reds of tomorrow

The Queensland Performance Rugby division focuses on developing and preparing players for the QAS Reds Academy and QR Reds.

Professional football comes under the direction of Performance Rugby Manager, Ben Whitaker, at the head of a professional rugby division within the QRU.

Developing elite players remains a high priority focus for all high performance areas of Queensland Rugby.

As part of this state-wide program, Queensland Rugby conducted a series of  talent ID clinics throughout the state in 2006 and 2007, supported by our principal sponsor QR.
