QR Reds visit Ipswich Rangers RUC
The QR Reds held their first open training session of the 2010 pre-season with a return visit to Ipswich Rangers rugby club.
They staged a 90-minute skills session under the direction of Head Coach Ewen McKenzie and QAS Reds Academy coaches Paul Carozza and Matt Taylor.
They were joined by an invited group of local potential Reds - three from West Moreton Anglican College, three from Ipswich Grammar, three from St Edmunds and one from Ipswich State High, a number of whom also play club rugby with Rangers.
They went through drills alongside the players and then joined in a helter skelter game of high speed touch.
The training run was followed by an autograph session and the opportunity for young fans to have their photo taken with players and to get a free copy of the photo courtesy of Konica Minolta.
